Full manufacturer training is provided, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive ongoing training at Volvo’s training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology.Key responsibilities…Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand.Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters.Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)Completing job cards and electronic write ups on franchise platformsCompletion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC’s)Support Apprentice Technicians as required.What you’ll bring…Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (or transferable skills within a similar role) with technical expertise to work at pace.A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace.Tech savvy and confident using iPad software.What’s on offer… Competitive salary and OTE25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysFlexible working to suit you and your lifestyle, with weekends on a rota basis.Full manufacturers training provided and regular development courses (including Electric Vehicle and High Voltage Technician training)Life assurance and pension schemeBonus schemes: Individual time saved, customer satisfaction and team bonus schemes.Plus many more…Working hours – Monday - Friday 08.30 -17.30 or 07.30 - 16.30, 1 in 4 Saturdays 09.00 – 13.00 flexible hours and part time also availablePlease note we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.Volvo’s Retailers welcome applications from candidates of any background who have relevant repair, maintenance, and servicing vehicles experience, including those from other industries who have transferable skills and competencies.
