VAN DRIVER A great opportunity to work with a stable company as a Permanent Driver, driving mainly 3.5T vehicles. There is opportunity to progress on to Class 1 and 2! Location Van Driver / 3.5t Driver: Rugby Salary for the Van Driver: Up to 14.00ph depending on experience If you have any extra licences that would also be an advantage, such as Class 2 or 1. This is a great opportunity as the company operates a big fleet of vans, plant, and HGV Vehicles, so you could progress to driving larger vehicles. My client, a large Construction company, require an experienced Driver to run from their site in Rugby. You should have previous experience in the safe loading, unloading and securing of tools and equipment. A valid UK driving licence is essential for anyone applying for this role. Job Specification, responsibilities and functions for the Van Driver / 3.5t Driver: To deliver tool equipment and building materials with a Van to sites Proficient in the safe loading and unloading of your vehicle Carry out daily walk around inspections Assist the depot prepare loads Deal with customers Complete and record accurately associated paperwork and delivery notes Take photos of damages and issues with any damaged items on site You should be versatile and able to adapt to change. You should be a professional Driver with good customer facing skills. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and time management skills and able to work with minimal supervision but also as part of a team. This is a permanent full time role and will require a full UK licence. Any extra licences or Tacho will be a huge advantage.
