We are supporting a well-established manufacturer in their search for a Junior Project Engineer to join their team. As Junior Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager to support product specifications, artwork approvals, and packaging design. You will be involved in multiple commercial projects, ensuring accurate documentation, strong communication, and high-quality standards throughout. This role would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a desire to learn within a structured engineering environment. Core duties include:Generating and maintaining top-level product supply specificationsManaging document updates, releases, and change notificationsSupporting customer and supplier interactions for project specification sign-offAssisting with packaging design, artwork tasks, and project coordinationHelping to manage a customer sample libraryEnsuring reports and actions are completed and escalated as neededContributing to continuous improvement of project processes and document standardisationAbout you:Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive and self-motivated attitudeStrong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to teamworkComfortable switching between multiple projects and prioritiesKeen to follow and learn company standards and proceduresAble to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers/suppliersAble to read and understand engineering drawingsExperience with SolidWorks CAD is advantageousCompetent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe PDF/Illustrator is a plusThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and innovative team with real long-term progression.
