The successful candidate will have experience in Employee Relations with a particular focus on sickness absence, to work through reducing short and long-term sickness absence cases at the Trust.Rate: 24.23 Umbrella per hourContract length: 6 months initiallyLocation: Sussex hybrid, likely 3 days on site Working pattern: 37.5 hours per weekEssential criteriaExtensive experience in employee relations, ideally within the NHSSickness absence management Desirable criteriaPrevious experience of working in an NHS organisation, or the wider Public SectorDuties and responsibilities:Provide professional and complex advice and support to managers in absence management procedures, ensuring that problems are identified and resolved quickly, effectively and fairly Manage a caseload of complex employee relations cases in an advisory capacity ensuring they are handled appropriately and in a timely mannerAttend formal employee relations meetings as appropriate and advise managers on documentation, ensuring consistency, accuracy and best practiceAdvise managers and staff on the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of service and contractual issuesVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
