This role is essential in ensuring architectural excellence, sustainability integration, and compliance with SH Design and Technical Standards across our EMEA properties. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager who excels at executing Technical Services Agreements (TSA) in collaboration with property owners, consultants, and development teams.Heres what were currently looking for: Regional Director, Technical Services. Some of the highlights of experience were looking for:1. Brand Representative for Assigned ProjectsServe as the primary SH contact for select projects, managing Technical Services Agreements (TSA) per SOP guidelines.Oversee TSA meetings with owners, architects, and contractors from project kickoff to construction.Coordinate internal document reviews and ensure milestone deliverables are met.Provide technical guidance on drawing submissions and specifications.Act as the technical lead for internal and external disciplines, including MEP, technology, surveillance, landscaping, lighting, multimedia, kitchen, and laundry consultants.Collaborate closely with Interior Design and Food & Beverage teams.2. Architecture & Sustainability ContributionReview and provide input on architectural, building system, and LEED Silver sustainability requirements.Support contract evaluations and strategize deviations with the executive team.Implement sustainability initiatives to optimize SH Hotels carbon footprint.Develop reports and recommendations for sustainable building solutions.Identify cost-effective, innovative solutions to enhance sustainability without compromising quality.3. Project Management (During Construction)Oversee the construction phase, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project goals.Provide regular budget, schedule, and program updates to SH Executive Team.Manage submittals, material samples, and routine site walk-throughs with action reports.Support punch list resolution, commissioning verification, and final documentation.4. Standards ManagementMaintain and update all Architecture & Construction Design Standards.Oversee content for key standard divisions, including:Architectural DesignTSA Process DocumentsMechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)Life & Fire SafetyTechnology & Sustainability Guidelines5. Sustainability LeadershipAdvocate for LEED Silver certification across projects.Conduct sustainability workshops and assist owners in defining project sustainability goals.Oversee LEED submittals and technical analysis to maximize energy savings.Guide hotels in ongoing green operations, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable procurement.Ensure compliance with Energy Star Portfolio Manager for energy tracking.Evaluate carbon offset programs and bulk purchasing agreements for renewable energy.Manage sustainability reporting, including carbon and waste tracking across properties.Must-Haves and Nice to HavesPassionate about sustainable building and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.Experience working in the hospitality, real estate development, or luxury brand sectors.A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.Precise, organized and detail oriented.LEED certification and understanding of sustainable design preferred.Solid working proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project and MS Office Suite.Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC, IFC, and NFPAPossess the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment continually assessing priorities and acting quickly with a sense of urgencyExcels at communication, both verbal and written.Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operationExceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
