Includes a quarterly bonus for OTEPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Overview: Carden Park is the North West of Englands largest independent hotel offering 197 bedrooms, 18 meeting spaces, catering for up to 400 delegates.We are a four-star resort style venue based within 1000 acres of Cheshire countryside with the ability to cater for a variety of different market segments including but not limited to; MICE, Sport Groups, Banqueting, Private events, Team Building, Corporate Golf, Spa & Wellbeing, Weddings & Leisure.Job Role:We have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our award winning sales team.Opportunity to be based in the office or from home with expectation if home working to be in the office at least one day per week.A Sales Manager you will pro-actively source new business whilst Account Managing Current Accounts from the North region , developing relationships with agents and direct clients to keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace.Job responsibilities: Follow up on all sales leads, identify opportunities, conduct off site sales presentations, appointments and hotel site visitsMaintain up to date knowledge of local businesses and develop relationship to drive share in all segments, i.e. MICE, team building, sporting groups and banqueting eventsIdentify networking opportunities with key target industriesDevelop customer accounts and travel within the North Region to develop relationships as required to drive businessWork within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunitiesShowrounds and client events, as required (accommodation and travel provided)Attendance at high profile corporate exhibitions with one to one appointments and personal selling of all Carden Park products including but not limited to conference and meeting facilities, team building and banquetingGrow relationships with clients with the objective to convert bookings for conference, events and meetingsRegular communication with the Director of Sales and team colleagues based at Carden ParkProduce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Director of Sales and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leadsPartake in team meetings and training sessionsOur ideal candidate: At least 2 years experience in a MICE market Business Development RoleStrong self-motivational skillsSales experience in corporate and agency marketsSalesforce knowledge preferred but not essentialAbility to network effectivelyStrong organisation and planning skills and the ability to prioritise appropriatelyExperienced in results-based, creative sales & marketing planning, execution and deliveryExemplary presentation and both written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with KPIsExcellent presentation standardsIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Knowledge of hospitalityPassion for sales and for achieving targets and objectivesComprehensive knowledge of UK MICE Agents and direct corporate clients would be preferableExperience in a hotel sales role with a proven track record to close salesThe Perks of Team CardenJoin a team where you will work hard but have fun along the way.
