You will be provided with autonomy and responsibility (whilst being fully supported) from day one and have the opportunity to make a sizable impact.If you are experienced in media relationship building, and want to develop serious advocacy campaigns, then this job is for you.No recruitment agencies, please.To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a proven recent track record of placing media articles in leading UK and U.S. media outlets, as well as strong connections in the media circles.Core ResponsibilitiesSecuring high-level publications in leading media for our clientsBuilding media relationshipsProducing written content for clients (media articles)Briefing journalists on behalf of clientsRelationship building with key influencers, media personalities and journalistsProviding clients with political/media intelligence and insight, highlighting any implications for the client's businessRequired skills:Bachelors Degree in a related field: political science, economics, law, international relations, journalism. etc. Masters Degree is a plusPrevious proven experience in journalism (2-3 years), ideally in tier-1 media platformRecent track record in pitching and placing publications (including op-eds)Excellent writer/communicatorWell networked in media (ideally, U.S. or UK), as well as policy circlesCan do proactive/entrepreneurial mindsetIdeally understanding of the following fields: financial services; geopolitics; data/tech/AIMakes things happen, is proactive and action-orientationCommunicates complex ideas with clarityPublic Affairs knowledge and/or experienceWhen faced with an obstacle, thinks creatively of potential solutions/optionsCan form clear opinions and recommendationsEnjoys a diversity of workLocationRemote: We are looking for someone with experience working in the U.S. mediaBenefitsCompetitive compensation (based on experience)Flexible workingGenerous annual leaveFriendly, close-knit teamExposure to senior industry leaders
