Public Law / Dispute Resolution Solicitor - Permanent Gravesend UK - Excellent packageQualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.One of the UK's leading ports is recruiting a solicitor to join their legal team.Reporting to the General Counsel, the company is looking for a solicitor to provide high quality efficient commercially focused legal advice across a variety of matters, including dispute resolution and public law.Other key responsibilities will include (but not exhaustive to);Deliver excellent legal solutions according to deadline and to budgetHandle general litigation work, including property, landlord and tenant and commercial dispute workAdvise upon and manage judicial review proceedings, and conduct/represent the company at dispute resolution proceedings, including advocacy, arbitrations and mediations (where applicable)Advise our company in respect of:data protection legislation and best practiceinformation law, including responses to Environmental Information Requestsgovernance mattersstatutes/statutory instrumentsThe successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with experience of working in Dispute Resolution legal team, Public law legal team or an in house legal team.You will:be able to handle large workloads and to adapt and learn new skillshave strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver work to a high standard when under pressurebe commercially minded, proactive and regularly take the initiative You must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this opportunity For a confidential career discussion or to apply, please email your CV to stuart.hensman@arm.co.uk or call 02392 228231ARM Maritime.
