Site Manager Civils/Utilities (South of England Travel Required) Location: Field-based across the South of England (must be based south of Nottingham) Salary: 40,000-50,000 Benefits Van Fuel Card Industry: EV Charging, Utilities, Civil Engineering About the Role My client is looking for an experienced Site Managers with a civils or utilities background to oversee the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the South of England .Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.This role is field-based and requires frequent travel across the region with regular overnight stays (accommodation and expenses fully covered).Youll be managing multiple sites concurrently, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and acting as the on-the-ground lead for each project.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the green energy transition while working on technically engaging, high-visibility infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities Site Setup & Mobilisation: Ensure sites are properly set up, including crew inductions and job briefings.Project Oversight: Oversee 23 active sites at a time, ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely, and on schedule.Travel & Coordination: Travel across the South of England as needed.Overnight stays (per week) will be required and fully expensed.Communication: Maintain daily contact with site teams and contractors, even when not physically present.Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep projects on track.What Were Looking For Experience in Civils or Utilities Projects: Ideally with EV infrastructure exposure, though backgrounds in highways, cabling, streetworks, or other utilities are also relevant.Independent & Proactive Approach: Able to lead and deliver across multiple remote sites with limited supervision.Qualifications (Preferred): SMSTS, Streetworks (NRSWA), SHEA, CSCS although attitude, safety mindset, and practical knowledge are key.Flexibility to Travel: Based in the South of England with willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.Whats on Offer Competitive base salary (40,000-50,000) Discretionary bi-annual bonus Private healthcare (Vitality) Company pension CPD/training investment Company van and fuel card Hotel and subsistence expenses covered for overnight stays Regular company events and team culture If this is of interest, please apply directly.Share any questions to abbey.graham@everec.co.uk
