We do have Full or part time available Call us on (phone number removed) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a curtain side lorry for trunking work. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties: * Operate a Curtain lorry to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Requirements: * Valid commercial driving licence (CE). * Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. * Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. * Ability to operate a HGV lorry safely and efficiently, demonstrating excellent driving skills. * Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks, including lifting heavy items when necessary. * Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
