About the Post: Be the Champion our Children and Young People need Service Manager - Children Residential Services and Supported Accommodation We are looking for an individual who is forward thinking, creative and with strong leadership skills to lead the way with our current Ofsted 'Good' residential children's homes , which includes a short breaks home for Children with Disabilities and support with the continuous improvement journey to be outstanding . It is an exciting time in Barnsley for the successful candidate with the development of new provision in the borough in cluding a 4 bedded 16+ supported accommodation home to be operational in 2026 . The post holder will be solution focused and have an established track record of driving forward high quality children's residential services. The position requires someone who has extensive knowledge of the sector . This includes The Children's Homes (England) Regulations and Quality Standards (2015) and Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards (2023) . The post hold er needs to confidently work with a team of Registered M anagers to ensure high quality of nurture, care and support for children in line with our ambition for our Barnsley children .
