They are looking to recruit a hands-on Assistant Manager for their 10-bedroomed Pub, Cafe, and Restaurant.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and a genuine passion for helping the business grow and develop.Please note This is not a live-in role you must live within 3045 minutes of Castleton and be able to drive (public transport is not an option)Are you the right person for the job?Proven experience in a bar, caf/restaurant, and cellar managementFully fluent in written and spoken EnglishComfortable working with a mixed-age team and confident communicating with all types of peopleMust be prepared to stay overnight occasionally in winter if Castleton is cut off (accommodation provided in one of our guest rooms)Computer literateProficient in using social media platforms for marketing and customer engagementComfortable with general kitchen prep and up-to-date Food Hygiene certificationWhat will your role look like?Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pub, caf, restaurant, and accommodation areas, ensuring smooth and efficient serviceOversee general kitchen prep and assist the kitchen team as needed while upholding food hygiene and safety standardsHelp promote the business and attract new customers through marketing activitiesMonitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and ensure availability of suppliesGreet customers, take orders, serve food and drinks, and make sure every guest feels welcome and well looked afterAssist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitabilityMaintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health and safety across all areasWhat can you expect in return?Friendly working environmentGratuities provided during shiftsUniform providedTraining offered as needed to support your successMeals on dutyFree staff parkingWhat's next?
