Youll be joining a friendly team of seven, working closely with the Legal Cashier Team Lead, and contributing to a broad range of finance tasks.Responsibilities include:Monitoring and allocating receipts across Client and Office accountsProcessing online payments including Faster Payments, CHAPS, and SWIFTSupporting with recurring payment instructions across 800+ deputy client accountsLiaising with banks to resolve transaction queriesHandling funds held in deposit accounts (e.g. NS&I, Court Funds Office)Managing payroll and associated tax/pension tasks for clients employing carersReconciling credit card, debit card, and cheque control accountsProcessing client bills, expenses, and supplier invoicesRecording property completions and applying VAT correctlySupporting residual balance checks and ad hoc finance tasksWhat we need from you:Minimum of 2 years experience as a legal cashierStrong attention to detail and numeracyGood knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts RulesConfident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and electronic filing systemsOrganised, reliable, and comfortable working in a teamExperience using SOS Connect is a plus, but not essentialThe perks:Salary up to 29,000 per annum25 days holiday plus 1.5 extra days at ChristmasPrivate health insurance (after 3-month probation)Life insurance at 3x salarySubsidised gym membershipAttendance bonus schemeAnnual bonus equivalent to one weeks salary if firm hits billing targetContributory pension schemeSupport with home office equipment if needed1 day WFH per week available (after 3-month probation)Interested?This is a great opportunity for a Legal Cashier looking to join a supportive, close-knit team within a firm that truly makes a difference.
