As we continue to scale, were looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to lead our finance function, provide strategic support to the CEO, and drive financial efficiency across the group.Role Overview:This is a hands-on finance role suited to someone who thrives in an SME environment. Youll be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management while supporting operational decision-making. Youll also manage an unqualified bookkeeper and maintain robust financial processes using Xero.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership: Own the day-to-day finance function, producing monthly management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts with insightful commentary for the CEO.Team Management: Oversee and mentor an unqualified bookkeeper, ensuring accurate transactional processing and reconciliations.Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely VAT, PAYE, and statutory compliance, and liaise with external accountants and auditors as required.Systems & Controls: Maintain the Xero accounting system and implement strong financial controls and efficient processes.Business Partnering: Work closely with the CEO and site managers to support commercial decisions, improve financial visibility, and drive profitability across all 9 sites.
