Covering both import and export air freight operations, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, professional environment with a company known for its strong global partnerships and commitment to customer service.Key Responsibilities:Handle end-to-end coordination of air freight shipments for both imports and exportsPrepare and process all relevant documentation including AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs entriesLiaise with airlines, ground handlers, overseas agents, and customers to ensure the smooth and timely movement of cargoTrack and monitor shipments, resolving any delays or issues proactivelyEnsure compliance with HMRC regulations, aviation security protocols, and company policiesWork closely with internal departments including transport and warehousing to maintain efficient operationsRequirements:Previous experience in air freight forwarding, covering both import and export operationsStrong understanding of customs procedures, documentation requirements, and airline handling processesFamiliarity with systems such as Cargowise, CNS, and CDSExcellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environmentA proactive and professional approach, with a strong focus on customer serviceWhats on Offer:Competitive salary up to 38,000 depending on experience25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension and annual performance reviewAccess to employee wellbeing resources and ongoing development opportunitiesFriendly and experienced team environmentModern facilities with free on-site parking in a convenient Colnbrook locationThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Air Freight Operator looking to expand their skills across both import and export services in a well-supported and reputable business.To apply, please send your CV to will@alsrec.com and include "Air Freight Colnbrook" in the subject line.
