Job Description

Synechron is looking for an experienced Senior Murex Risk expert to join our SI team and play a pivotal role for a tier-1 Japanese Bank. This is a multi year contract to work with a dynamic global team with specific focus on MCL and market rates. The successful candidate will interface closely with risk users, providing expert guidance, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing risk assessment processes.Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.Key Responsibilities:Act as the go-to subject matter expert for Murex Risk modules, particularly MLC and Market Risk areasEngage with risk users to understand their needs, gather requirements, and resolve issues related to MurexProvide advanced support and troubleshooting for Murex risk calculations and configurationsCollaborate with IT and risk teams to optimise and enhance risk models and reports Assist in the implementation of new risk measures and regulatory reporting requirementsDocument processes, issues, and resolutions to ensure continuous improvementRequired Skills and Experience:Deep expertise in Murex, with a focus on Risk modulesespecially MLC and Market RiskProven experience in risk management within financial markets, including market risk and credit riskStrong communication skills with the ability to engage with risk users and technical teamsExperience troubleshooting complex Murex issues and implementing solutionsKnowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting market risk and credit risk reportingAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholder requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, or related fieldsPrevious experience in a senior or lead role involving Murex system managementSynechron's Diversity StatementSynechron are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
