This is a temporary full time role and would suit you if you have proven retail supervisory or management experience plus an interest in the Arts, Creative, Cultural or Film Worlds.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide high standards of service to help maximise sales for the shopMotivate and line manage retail teamDuty manage shiftsProvide an efficient and high standard of service to all customersHelp to create and maintain retail visual merchandising standardsUpdate daily, weekly and other regular sales reports and KPI documents and conduct the cash countMaximise sales through excellent product knowledge, inspiring team to share in thisOperate the tills in a secure and efficient manner, ensuring secure cash handling at all timesEnsure that the shop is kept clean and tidy, and that stock is regularly replenishedEnsure shop procedures are carried out Key skills and experience requiredDemonstrable retail line management experience, gained in a fast-paced environmentAbility to enthuse, lead and motivate and inspire others through excellent communication and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to build strong relationships at all levels internally and externally and shows a willingness to collaborate with and support othersAptitude and passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience, creating and maintaining a strong customer service cultureOrganised & able to prioritise managing tasks simultaneously and perform under pressureAbility to ensure that the organisations reputation for high standards of presentation is maintained; an interest and aptitude for visual merchandising and displayExperience meeting and exceeding revenue & KPI targets & motivating others to tooStrong attention to detail, with good financial acumen ability to interpret data and manage stock processesDue to the large number of applications that we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.This is an excellent opportunity to work within Arts and Cultural institution.
