People Group are looking to recruit a P6 Planner to help a Tier 1 contractor deliver the AMP 8 Severn Trent or Welsh Water FrameworkInterested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Key Accountabilities:Ensure that the programme content and functionality is compliant with Clients Planning Processes and ProceduresProvide full life-cycle planning across multiple projects; bids, pre-construction and live projectsReview documents, specifications and scopes, identifying contract requires and major constraintsProvide detailed bid programmes, method statements and logistics proposals for inclusion in the final submissionProvide outline plans and methodologies at bid stageVisit sites to ascertain conditions and constraints to be taken into account when preparing tender programmes and method statementsProduce detailed fully integrated design, procurement and construction stage Contract Programmes, that may also require to be fully resourced and cost-loadedPrepare progress data and produce relevant progress reportsLiaise with internal and external key stakeholders and third parties to establish optimum, compliant programmesAscertain and report progress on pre-construction and live projects, foreseeing potential delays and advising of mitigation measuresPrepare progress data and produce relevant progress reportsAssist and develop Junior team members where required Experience:Proven experience in the successful planning of Water Projects Minimum 5 years experience in project planningSix Sigma Yellow Belt Good IT skills, including software skills in Primavera P6 (essential), MS Excel & WordOn offer is a salary of between 40,000 - 50,000 per annum, Private healthcare, pension and holiday entitlement (increasing with Years of service) and more
