The ideal applicant will be able to significantly impact the production environment and make a significant contribution. As a vital member of a small business's core management team, the production manager will be responsible for future expansion and opportunity realization.If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing manufacturing and production processes.Creating and executing daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.Determining production tooling and equipment needs and taking responsibility for its maintenance.Driving innovation throughout all elements of production.Consulting with suppliers on manufacturing projects; Implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.Implementing company procedures and policies.Communicating any problems or obstacles to top management and assisting with resolution.Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control and producing KPIs.Maintaining a training matrix for manufacturing employees and tracking progress of training.Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of applicable aerospace quality standards.Implementing and adhering to Health and Safety Requirements.RequirementsAble to work with initiative and without constant supervision.Desire to achieve and continuously improve systems and processes.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication.Data analysis and statistical aptitude.Good interpersonal skills.Highly conscientious and diligent.Previous production management experience, minimum 2 years.Why work with Oaklands Global?We are the worlds leading aviation and aerospace recruitment and executive search firm, trusted by the most respected names in the industry to deliver results with integrity, discretion, and excellence.With over 50 years of combined experience, we dont just fill roles, we shape careers and give our clients a competitive talent advantage.
