If you have a strong background in Quantity Surveying and a passion for excellence in pre-contract and procurement stages, we invite you to join this dynamic team and make a significant impact in this exciting and rapidly growing sustainable energy landscape.Key responsibilities;As a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager within our client's Renewable Energy division, you will;Support renewable energy developers throughout the project lifecycle, from early development phases through procurement and construction deliveryDevelop comprehensive cost models following project feasibility studiesLead the client-side construction procurement processes for wind farm, solar farm and battery storage projects across the UKPrepare tender documentation and manage tender evaluationsProvide commercial guidance on contract strategy and risk allocationAdminister contracts under NEC and/or FIDIC frameworksDeliver cost management services during construction phaseProduce regular cost reports and forecastsManage change control processes and evaluate variationsProvide value engineering solutions to optimise project costsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across both civil engineering and M&E disciplinesAdvise clients on commercial risks and opportunities throughout project development and deliveryEnsure project commercial governance and compliance with contractual requirementsThis role offers excellent opportunities to develop your expertise in the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector whilst applying your commercial management skills to meaningful infrastructure projects that support the UK's transition to sustainable energy.Key requirements;A quantity surveying background.
