Our client is recognised by the legal 500 and is ranked in the 2023 UK Edition for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. They are looking to recruit a Solicitor/Legal Executive, ideally with previous multi track/serious injury experience. If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.This role is offered on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday in the Newcastle office, with hybrid working available.About the role:Running a caseload of mid-value personal injury claimsProviding knowledge of legal procedures, including issuing and service proceedings, directions timetables, ADR and trial experience in obtaining factual and expert evidenceLiaising with counsel and experts appropriately and professionallyDrafting schedules of loss including heads of future lossReviewing files and reporting regularly to clients, team leaders etcAssessing cases merits against liability and gathering evidenceCompleting Schedules of Special DamagesIssuing proceedings and proceeding through litigation to settlement or TrialPreparing cases for Trial including Briefs to CounselAbout you:Proven experience in serious injury/multi track litigationKnowledge of legal concepts and good drafting skillsStrong understanding of quantum issuesClient care skills & excellent attention to detailIT literate in MS Office and knowledge of time recording softwareSalaryDepending on experienceWhats in it for you:People-centric working environment with hybrid working.23 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum, increasing in accordance with length of service to 26 days.Holiday purchase scheme (up to 1 week)Attendance BonusDeath in Service schemeEmployee Assistance 24-hour helplineTravel to work schemes: bike and public transport pass schemeThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded law firm, with an excellent reputation for work life balance.To apply or find out more, please get in touch.NRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
