Competitive salaryMon to FriRegular office hoursHybrid role - if local to Stoke office, 3 days pw in the office, 2 days at homeIf further away, we can discuss accommodating more time at home once trained and confident in postHere at ISS, as a leading Facilities management (FM) organisation, we are looking to recruit an Energy Analyst to join our central "Energy Bureau" located in the Stoke Office, where in a team of 6 you will work with a major Banking customer to manage data related to their Energy consumption across their UK estate.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.This data will cover all Utilities - Water, Gas Electricity etc consumed within their Office and Corporate portfolio, and you will play a key part in validating this data, fulfilling various analytical, financial and administrative tasks to ensure robustness of data and correct payment of utilities invoicesYou will also work with Engineers, Energy Managers and senior leaders to infirm them around energy usage, aiding them make informed decision making on the running of the client's estateIn short, you will help a leading financial services client best understand their energy usageThis is a fantastic role for an analytically minded professional, with an interest in developing within Energy/Utilities and to grow your commercial awareness in order to enjoy a successful career within the Energy fieldActions will include:Query Resolution & ManagementValidating and processing invoices, meter readings, and data on the Energy SystemAnalysis of consumption trends, spikes and missing dataData updates and data cleanse within Energy SystemProviding payment details to the Energy SuppliersCreating payment files for the relevant finance team along with financial reportsCreating timely data intensive reports with a high degree of accuracy in line with the agreed timescales for the contractContinually maintain and update baselines and accruals to reflect changes within the client's portfolioProcess property change notifications from the client with the nominated energy supplierLiaise with internal and external clients on a regular basis in a professional manner including our Broker PartnerProvide updates to the Energy Bureau LeadProvide support to the Team during busy times of the monthAttend client meetings where requiredWe need from you:Strong Analytical skills, commercial awareness - any experience of invoice validation would be very welcomeAbility to pick up new concepts and technical terminology to di with utilities
