Our client delivers high-quality construction projects across the South West, typically ranging in value from 1M to 7M, with a strong pipeline of work.Known for their collaborative and professional approach, they are now looking to expand their site team with an Assistant Site Manager who is eager to grow within the business. The Role:The successful candidate will assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of a live retail refurbishment, ensuring health 'safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality and programme targets. Key Responsibilities:Support the Site Manager in delivering the project to programme and budgetManage and coordinate subcontractors and site logisticsConduct site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talksMaintain site documentation and daily recordsEnsure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental standards Candidate Requirements:Experience in a similar role, ideally on retail or commercial refurbishmentsSSSTS (or SMSTS), CSCS, and First Aid qualificationsStrong communication, organisational, and leadership skillsAbility to work in a live site environment with a proactive, hands-on approach Salary & Package:35,000 40,000 depending on experience5,000 car allowanceCareer development opportunities with a growing regional contractorFriendly, team-oriented working environment
