They are a successful OEM Aerospace Engineering company. They is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join a busy team during an exciting period of growth.If you have previous supply chain experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment, then we would love to hear from you.Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will manage supplier relationships and order books ensuring business requirements are clearly recognised.Your responsibilities will include:Manage a portfolio of Suppliers to ensure business requirements are metSupplier performance analysis, reviewing the impact of poor performance and implementing the action planParticipate in multisite Supplier business reviewsWork within a cross functional team to ensure successful work package transfers in the Supply ChainSupport effective implementation of Supplier Performance strategy and initiativesManage internal expectations with key Customers to ensure full customer satisfaction.Order book management: Analyse, process, confirm and communicate requirements to the supplier, negotiate dead-lines & quantities to meet business needsMaintain ERP and manage inventoryReview and upload the supplier schedulesWhat will you need?Good working knowledge of ERP system (ideally SAP) and MRP2 PrinciplesExperience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environmentComputer literate in Word & Excel to include an intermediate knowledge of ExcelPrevious experience in negotiating and influencingProven experience of building relationships with suppliersThe benefits of working for this company are:25 days holiday + UK Bank HolidaysOn Board Benefits' Programme, providing a number of schemes such as cycle to work, technology savings, retail discounts, access to healthcare, house moving day, sports and social clubShares and profit share schemeFulfilling your potential with Career Progressions opportunities such as company sponsorship and further training coursesFamily friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoptive parents, shared parental leave, parental leave and flexible workingPension Min contribution (employee) 4.5% no max contribution cap BUT the company will only match the employee contribution up to 8%Healthcare cash plan - company cover solo level 1 cover for the employee as standard, dependent children can also be covered up to age 18 - also option to upgrade to partner cover at employees expense if requiredThe company undertakes some defence related work so all candidates must be able to achieve Basic Security Clearance.
