Mobile Forklift Engineer Location: Manchester & Surrounding Areas Salary: Up to 35,000 + Overtime (OTE 45k) + Company Van + Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About Us: My client is a leading provider of premium material handling solutions. Due to continued growth, theyre now seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Forklift Engineer to join the team in the North including Manchester, Hull, Doncaster and Leeds. The Role: As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, youll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites across Manchester and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and service diesel, electric, and LPG forklifts and warehouse equipment. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Provide excellent on-site customer service, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Maintain accurate service records using digital reporting tools. Liaise with the service support team for parts and job scheduling. About You: Proven experience as a field-based or workshop engineer within the material handling, agricultural, plant, automotive or HGV sectors. Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills. Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar).
