Job description: We’re currently recruiting for a Family Lawyer to join an excellent firm for an initial period of 3 months, with the likelihood of further extension.This positions is on a fully remote basis, and the firm are willing to consider both full or part-time applicants – minimum 4 days per week.The successful candidate will be:Managing a complex caseload, dealing with anything from fixed-fee divorces to financial disputesProviding legal advice to clients over the phone, via written communication channels, and face to face meetingsTaking ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters, undertaking active negotiation and mediation to get the best results for your clientsAdvising the team on complex legal queries, acting as the subject matter specialist in family lawRequired skillsQualified as a solicitor / CILEX qualified, with significant post-qualification experienceA proven background in family law, with excellent legal technical knowledgeSolid knowledge of divorce, separation, financial settlements, cohabitation and children lawDay rate: Dependent on prior experience (inside IR35)Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
