Commercial Manager – Defence Infrastructure & FacilitiesLocation: South West EnglandSalary: Up to £85,000 DOESecurity Clearance: RequiredA key player in the Defence infrastructure space is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial delivery of large-scale facilities and estate projects across the South West.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to support nationally significant programmes, ensuring robust contract management, cost control, and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Lead commercial management across multiple infrastructure and facilities projectsOversee procurement, contract negotiation, administration, and complianceManage cost planning, forecasting, and change control in line with contractual frameworksEnsure effective stakeholder management, including MOD clients, suppliers, and delivery teamsSupport risk management and resolution of contractual issuesDrive value for money while maintaining high standards of governance and deliveryRequirements:Strong experience in commercial or contract management within Defence, construction, or infrastructure sectorsKnowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or other government contract formsExcellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skillsFamiliarity with MOD commercial procedures is highly desirableActive Security Clearance (SC) – essentialProfessional qualification such as MRICS, MCIPS, or similar is preferredWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salary up to £85,000 depending on experienceKey role in the delivery of vital Defence infrastructure programmesClear career progression within a secure and growing organisationFlexible working and a collaborative, professional team environmentTo find out more or express your interest, apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
