Danos has been mandated on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a Local Government Pension Fund. The role will be based in Bristol and will sit in a small team, reporting into the Director of Risk and General Counsel. The role offers hybrid working without any mandated days required in the office. Dependent on experience, remote working would also be considered. Responsibilities:Provide legal advice on a range of contracts and arrangements including employment contracts, commercial contracts, supply of goods and services contracts and documents related to investments by, or on behalf of clients.Maintaining a working knowledge of all relevant regulatory obligations that have an impact on the fund.Advising on the Data Protection Act 2018Researching and implementing applicable laws and regulations handed down by the FCA and advising the business accordingly.Aiding with FOIA requests.Provide support to the wider business including Compliance and HR.Your Profile: England & Wales qualified with 2+ years PQE.Broad commercial contracts experience will be consideredDue to the nature of the role, candidates who are immediately available are preferred.Please reach out to tkretzmer@ to learn more.
