This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team at Perenco, based at our operation at Wytch Farm in Dorset.The primary focus of the role will be as the Slickline Operator for all slickline operations at Wytch Farm. This role will be on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation with the current Slickline Supervisor as your back-to-back. The role will also involve training incumbent members of the wells team in slickline operations and maintaining all slickline equipment.Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-discipline environment are essential, as is self motivation and the ability to self-direct.This role will report to the Well Intervention Superintendent and is a shift role with a requirement to provide night and on call cover as the work dictates.Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):• Supervising slickline work (rig and well services)• Preparation of slickline operations including assistance with programme writing• Training well service crew and rig crew as slickline assistants• Maintenance of slickline unit• Maintenance of slickline tools• Maintenance of PCE• Carrying out maintenance on site, coordinating third party certification and maintaining records• Updating slickline procedures• Advising on new and replacement tools, sourcing quotes• Assist in the stock management of our slickline set valves and tools• Maintaining records of all slickline work carried out and all tools installed downhole• Prepare job permits on P2W• Act as forklift driver, slinger and banksman for well service operations• Assist with well service and rig operations as requiredQualifications/Experience/Skills Required:• Slickline Operator experience (essential)• Experience with Permit to Work and Maintenance systems (desirable)• Rigging & Lifting, Banksman Slinger qualification to NSL level 1 (or equivalent)• Qualified to drive telehandler forklift (desirable)• IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control (Level 4 – Supervisor)• Good communication skills• Ability to work as part of a small team• Self-motivated• Computer literate for reporting and record keepingBenefits:At Perenco we value and reward our people, offering competitive salaries and a wide range of benefits including:• Discretionary Bonus• Private Medical Insurance & Dental Cover• Flexible Benefit Allowance• Life Assurance• Excellent Pension Provision• 21 days holiday • Profit ‘Unit’ Sharing Scheme
