Their portfolio includes both new build and refurbishment works in the commercial, residential, and public sectors.The Opportunity:The business is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Estimating to lead its estimating function. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 6 estimators and play a key role in both operational delivery and strategic growth, with a clear pathway to Directorship.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead the estimating department, including a team of 6 estimatorsTake ownership of the full pre-construction estimating processDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teamsDrive continuous improvement of estimating systems and tender accuracyProvide strategic input at senior level to support the company’s commercial goalsEnsure competitive and profitable pricing across a wide range of building envelope projectsCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in a senior estimating role within façades, cladding, or building envelope sectorsStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesThorough knowledge of a variety of façade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, windows, doors, and insulation systemsExperience pricing and leading tenders for projects ranging from £1m to £10mResults-oriented with strong commercial awareness and a collaborative approachWhat’s on Offer:£90,000 - £110,000+ basic salary ( depending on experience)Highly competitive benefits packageHybrid working model – Essex-based with flexible home workingClear progression route to DirectorshipOpportunity to join a growing, financially stable company that invests in its peopleA collaborative and supportive working environment with long-term career developmentHow to Apply:This is a rare opportunity for an experienced estimating professional to take a leadership role in a forward-thinking, high-performing business.
