This role is essential to ensuring that surfaces are appropriately prepped for painting and spraying, which is critical to maintaining the high-quality standards of our client's marine craft.Key Responsibilities:Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking Ensuring all surfaces are free from defects before painting begins Maintaining a clean and organised work space Adhering to health and safety regulations while handling materials and equipment Collaborating with the painting team to ensure smooth work flowJob Requirements:Experience in paint preparation, ideally within the marine industry Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work efficiently in a team environment Knowledge of health and safety practices related to paint prepping Good communication skills Physical stamina to handle the demands of the jobContract Details:Contract duration: Initial 2 months Hourly rate: Dependant on experience (c.£15.50-£17/h PAYE plus holiday pay) 42 hour standard week Based in a state of the art all weather build and repair facilityIf you are an experienced Paint Prepper looking for a contract position in the marine sector, we would love to hear from you!TPBN1_UKTJ
