Programme Delivery Director - Must have a valid SC Cleared(minimum) - DV eligible We are seeking an experienced and drivenProgramme Delivery Directorto lead the delivery of high-impact change programmes across a major Defence and National Security portfolio. This is a strategic leadership role, accountable for setting the vision, direction, and successful execution of complex and critical delivery initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall strategic direction, vision, and execution of a portfolio of programmes and projectsWork in close partnership with the Delivery Executive and MOD customer to align delivery goals with business strategyProvide leadership across a team of Programme and Project Managers, leveraging the PMO to drive delivery success and customer benefitMaintain accountability for programme and project outcomes including timelines, risk, stakeholder alignment, and resource managementManage the escalation and resolution of complex issues, risks, dependencies, and conflicts across the portfolioAct as the key point of decision-making authority across delivery, ensuring alignment with both customer objectives and internal governanceLead high-level stakeholder engagement, both internal and external, to ensure mutual alignment and long-term relationship successEnsure financial oversight and P&L accountability across the portfolio, including contingency approvals and governance alignmentChampion continuous improvement and drive best practice across the wider delivery and programme management communityEssential Skills & Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Programme Director or Senior Programme Manager leadinglarge, complex programmes and portfoliosProven ability to lead cross-functional programme and project teams with strategic clarity and confidenceStrong governance expertise with a solid grasp ofrisk, financial, issue, and dependency managementDeep experience managing and influencingsenior stakeholders and customersin high-stakes environmentsExcellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to think and actstrategically and creativelyunder pressureStrong leadership communication style - able to engage at all levels with clarity and authoritySC clearance is required; must be eligible and willing to undergo DV clearanceIf you are a seasoned programme delivery leader with a background in Defence or National Security, and you're ready to take ownership of a mission-critical portfolio, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
