Role: Junior ConveyancerLocation: Support Office, DoncasterHours: 37.5 hours, Monday to FridayThe Opportunity The Junior Conveyancer will report directly to the Legal Manager and will be responsible for managing a busy caseload of plot sale matters from file opening to completion to be delivered in a timely manner and pursuant to company objectives. You will also support on part exchange purchases and associated re-sales. As the Junior Conveyancer, you will be required to generate reports from our internal case management system and liaise closely with our sales team to achieve plot sales on time. The successful candidate will have some experience in conveyancing and new build, and will have excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You’ll join a team with a vision to become the market leading customer experience home builder underpinned by our sustainability and social purpose credentials.Responsibilities of the rolePreparing documentation for each transaction, included but not limited to preparation of contract packs, dealing with enquiries, preparation of completion statements.Taking instructions from internal clients and actioning accordingly. Delegated supervisory responsibilities as and when required to administration and progression team.Maintaining knowledge and skills. Liaising with our sales team on progression and working closely with the team to achieve exchanges. Registration of part exchange purchases. Build relationships and support the site team and visit site once a month to ensure best practice and knowledge is shared of the legal process.Support teams across the wider business when necessary with information on plot sales.Prepare for Monday sales/build forecasting meeting with the latest updates along with any issues or blockers the Sales and Customer Experience Director may need to be aware of. Serve notice on upcoming completions to ensure completions take place on time. Help support with innovation within the department to ensure the department works as effectively and efficiently as possible. Support with any stamp duty requirements Support with admin task in busy periods and when holiday cover is necessary. Keep up to date with CPD – source courses and ensure hours are met for the year.
