Looking to take your procurement career to the next level? We’re working with a leading employer in the energy and environmental sector who are looking for a Procurement Data Processor to join their team at a modern Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in Allington, Kent.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in procurement, stock control, and data systems - especially in engineering, manufacturing or recycling environments. You’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient sourcing, tracking and reporting of all materials, tools and commodities needed for site operations.What you’ll be doing:Managing stock data and processing orders for parts, tools and consumablesRaising RFQs, reviewing quotes and making procurement recommendationsGenerating purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveriesMatching POs with invoices and resolving discrepanciesSupporting procurement compliance and site-wide inventory best practiceNegotiating prices for commonly purchased itemsWorking closely with the wider procurement teamWhat we’re looking for:Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience in a relevant sector (e.g. recycling, engineering, or manufacturing)Comfortable working with large data sets and MRP systemsStrong knowledge of stock control systems and procurement processesFamiliarity with mechanical and electrical componentsExcellent Excel skills and confident communicating with suppliers and internal teamsCIPS qualification (desirable but not essential)What’s on offer:Competitive salary25 days’ holiday + Bank HolidaysCompany pension scheme & life assuranceDiscretionary bonusCareer development & training opportunitiesRecognition & employee referral schemesWide range of flexible benefits: high street discounts, cycle to work, GymFlex, health & wellbeing services and moreThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team where your work truly contributes to sustainability and resource efficiency.
