It's an exciting moment to help shape a company that's mission driven and technically ambitious.What You’ll DoWe’re seeking a Fractional CFO to help lead the business through a successful Series A fundraise. This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader who can operate hands on and at pace. You'll:Develop and own financial models and investor materialsLead financial planning and scenario modelingGuide investor outreach, diligence, and deal structuringAdvise on capital strategy, cash runway, and risk managementSupport operational scaling and commercial readiness post raiseExperience RequiredProven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in early-stage, VC backed startups. Ideally within BioTech, DeepTech, or CleanTech sectorsSuccessfully led or supported a Series A (or later) raise, with hands on involvement in modelling, structuring, and investor engagementDeep understanding of biotech specific funding models, including grant funding, R&D tax credits, and non dilutive financing strategiesComfortable operating in pre-revenue environments, with experience managing long R&D timelines and milestone-based funding structuresStrong financial modeling and scenario planning skills; capable of translating complex science and commercial potential into compelling financial narrativesExperience preparing and presenting data rooms, investor decks, and board materials for technical and financial stakeholdersAbility to advise on cap table management, runway extension, and financial operations setup as the company scalesStrategic, analytical, and execution oriented.
