Health & Safety Advisor Location: Wolverhampton (with travel across the West Midlands) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + packageAn established and respected civil engineering, infrastructure, and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support their growing operations across the West Midlands.With live sites spread throughout the region, this role offers a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including groundworks packages, S278 schemes, and wider civils infrastructure.The Role: Reporting to the HSE Manager, you’ll be responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture across all sites, ensuring full compliance with legislation and company procedures.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talksSupport site teams with RAMS, inductions, and incident investigationsAdvise on risk assessments and safe systems of workMaintain accurate records and produce H&S reportsWork closely with project managers and site teams to drive best practiceRequirements:NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)Experience in a similar role within civil engineering, groundworks, or constructionStrong knowledge of health 'safety legislation and site proceduresExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence (travel between sites required)What’s on Offer:Salary between £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)Company vehicle or car allowancePension, healthcare, and further benefitsLong-term career development with a growing regional contractorIf you're looking to join a business that values safety, quality, and its people, we'd love to hear from you.
