Environmental Consultant- 12 Month Contract - Based in TeessideOur Client has a requirement for an Environmental Consultant, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Teesside.Contract length: Initially 12 MonthsIR35 status: Outside IR35Rate: Negotiable dependent on experiencePurpose of the position: As Environmental Coordinator you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards.Responsibilities:Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activitiesReview and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirementsManagement of site environmental issuesCoordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company’s departments and relevant external stakeholdersPerform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental InvestigationsComplete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and dataWhat are we looking for?Education: BEng or BSc in engineering with majoring in environmental or similarExperience: 5-8 years in offshore and onshore projectsISO 140001 Lead AuditorWhat we can offer to you:Contractor role, full timeOutside IR35Working model: onsite, some traveling to the London area will be requiredLocation: Teesside (and occasionally in London)Start date: ASAP
