As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, lead a team of Sales Assistants and volunteers, and ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. This role offers the chance to make a difference in the community while developing your retail leadership skills. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Store Manager in daily store operations Lead and motivate staff and volunteers Ensure excellent customer service Manage stock and store presentation Assist with financial reporting and stock management RequirementsYou will have: Ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager Physical ability to lift and carry stock up to 10kg Leadership skills to manage a team of staff and volunteers Delegation and coaching skills Excellent customer service skills Time management skills under conflicting priorities IT literacy and numeracy skills Ideally, you will also have: Experience in retail processes Understanding of financial reports Experience in customer-facing roles What We Offer28-hour working week 25 days holiday (pro-rata) plus bank holidays 8% pension contribution Discounts via Blue Light Card and BenefitHub Life assurance and Bupa health cashback Tickets for Good for events Additional InformationThis role requires pre-existing Right to Work in the UK.
