Electrical Project Manager BESS & Solar | Contract | South Wales (Newport / Swindon / Bristol)Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Start: ASAPSchedule: Monday to FridayDuration: 36 monthsIm working with a leading client in the BESS and solar sector who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee critical construction and commissioning activities on-site in South Wales.The Role:Youll be joining the team as they move from construction into the commissioning and grid connection phase of a BESS integration project. Your core responsibility will be to manage and coordinate subcontractors on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are maintained throughout the final stages of delivery.Key Responsibilities:Oversee electrical works across construction and commissioning phasesCoordinate and manage subcontractors on-siteEnsure compliance with health 'safety and QA proceduresCollaborate with internal teams and grid operators during grid connectionReport progress to project stakeholdersAbout You:Strong background in electrical project managementPrevious BESS and/or solar experience is highly desirableHands-on, proactive approach with good site-based leadership skillsComfortable managing subcontractor teams and driving site deliveryAvailable to work MondayFriday, site-basedIdeally based near Newport, but open to candidates from Swindon or BristolIf this role is of interest, please send your updated CV to H.Sanger@Brightsmithgroup.com as soon as possible.
