It starts with you.As a Pharmacist at our hospital, youll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and youll have proven post-qualification experience. Its also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as youll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimising medication therapy and promoting safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug use within the hospital. The role involves direct patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes and minimise medication-related problems. As a Pharmacist, you will:Join our talented multidisciplinary teamBe the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospitalDeliver high-quality clinical care and advice where its neededOffer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatresParticipate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetingsEducate patients on the proper use of prescribed medicationsConduct medication reconciliation and drug utilization reviewsDocument clinical interventions and outcomesProvide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patientsEnsure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programsReport adverse drug reactions and medication errorsAs a Pharmacist, you will have:Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and disease managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamHelping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
