This role is ideal for individuals who are part-qualified or recently qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.My client is a very modern and forward thinking practice who work completely cloud and digital based.This is a non-audit role with no specialist tax responsibilities, focusing instead on general accounting, financial reporting, and client advisory work.Key Responsibilities:Prepare year-end financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole tradersManage monthly and quarterly management accountsAssist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and corporation tax computationsSupport senior accountants in client meetings and correspondenceMaintain and update accounting records using cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similarEnsure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standardsContribute to internal process improvements and efficiency initiativesLiaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide day-to-day accounting supportRequirements:Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)Minimum 3 years experience in a UK accountancy practice environmentStrong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations (general level only)Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsProficiency in cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:A friendly, supportive, and professional working environmentComprehensive study support package, including:Exam and tuition feesStudy materials and resourcesPaid study leaveOngoing professional development and career progression opportunitiesFlexible working arrangements (subject to discussion)Regular team social events and a positive work culture
