Job Summary:As a Product Designer at Laser Digital, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our external trading application into a best-in-industry platform. Your primary responsibility will be to redesign the initial version of the application, enhancing its usability, functionality, and overall user experience with high-quality, cutting-edge designs. This involves enhancing the functionality and user experience of tools used by our internal teams, ensuring they are efficient, intuitive, and aligned with our overall product strategy.You will stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve our products. If you are passionate about design and eager to work on innovative projects, we would love to hear from you.Key responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and feedback.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with our brand and user needs.Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our trading application remains competitive.Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.Liaising with external users, providing training and creating user documentationKey skills:Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in designing crypto trading systems is a plus, experience of non-crypto trading systems also considered.Experience with realtime/live updating financial systems
