Join a great Company in Carlisle who are seeking a Payroll Administrator to ensure that employees are paid correctly, on time, and in line with statutory legislation.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Job ResponsibilitiesDay to Day Payroll ProcessingInput all data received:- New Starts / Leavers/Changes/Tax Code Changes/Court Orders/Monthly HoursFollow up missing or incomplete data.Calculate and input SSP, SMP and SPP, ensuring payments are in line with statutory legislation.Maintain up to date absence spreadsheetsRun monthly report to ensure pay rates are updated in line with National Minimum Wage.Complete all payroll input in line with agreed timetable.Process pay runs (first run, final run & supplementary runs as appropriate) in line with agreed timetable ensuring that payroll is fully checked and complete by the BACS processing deadline.Process month end reports in line with agreed timetableFile all statutory reports (FPS Files) with HMRC on or before each pay dateGeneral DutiesOpen, sort and distribute mail.Maintain accurate and up to date filing systems.Respond to employee queries ensuring that they are all satisfactorily resolved.Highlight any major or unresolved issues to the Payroll ManagerAssist with training of new staff as required.Provide cover for other Payrolls during absence/holidays.Assist Payroll Manager with other ad hoc duties as required.SecurityEnsure that confidential information is stored securely and not disclosed to any unauthorised persons.Ensure that system passwords are stored securely and not disclosed to any unauthorised persons.Please note: this role is fully office based in Carlisle, successful candidates must be able to commute or relocate to this area.TPBN1_UKTJ
