Role Summary: The HSE Advisor supports the Package Management and operators Fabrication Team in implementing the HSE strategy and objectives at the suppliers site. This role ensures planned HSE activities are structured, managed, and effectively executed throughout the project. Success Criteria:Reduction in TRIR and NCR among fabrication suppliersTimely implementation of Supplier Improvement and Assurance Activity PlansAchievement of project milestonesSupplier performance aligned with operators HSE objectivesKey Responsibilities: Aligned with the Execute QHSE Assurance Plan Fabrication process:Ensure supplier compliance with operators HSE contractual requirementsPlan and conduct risk-based assessmentsProvide HSE support to operators Package and Fabrication TeamsMonitor and drive Supplier HSE Improvements and Assurance PlansReport on supplier HSE performanceCoordinate operational HSE efforts and promote a strong safety cultureTasks:Review supplier HSE documentation (e.g., HSE plans, risk assessments)Advise on HSE strategy and prioritiesExecute and track the Supplier HSE Activity PlanPerform supplier assessments and ad-hoc evaluationsConduct site inspections to verify complianceMaintain HSE records and reporting in SynergiSupport incident investigations and follow-up actionsParticipate in supplier audits, readiness checks, and key project meetings (e.g., HIRA, FAI, TOC)Initiate communication notes for non-compliance issuesDevelop site-specific HSE guidelines and conduct safety inductionsReview and follow up on supplier reportingProvide bi-weekly HSE updates to stakeholdersDeliverables:Documentation review and follow-upMeeting participation and risk workshop involvementOn-site presence and inspectionsCase entry and data management in SynergiOngoing updates to QHSE Assurance PlanEscalation of critical issuesSupplier performance reportingRequirements:IOSH or NEBOSH certification (General or Construction Certificate minimum)NEBOSH Diploma preferred5+ years in industrial manufacturing, ideally in fabrication10+ years in QHSE managementExperience in incident investigation and root cause analysisKnowledge of local HSE regulationsValid training: Work at Height (e.g., GWO), First Aid, and medical clearanceFluent in EnglishStrong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skillsOur role in supportingdiversityandinclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
