A successful candidate's main roles and responsibilities will be as follows;If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.Testing, segregating and sorting incoming material -Knowledge and at least 2 years of prior use of analytical equipment needed (eg. Portable XRF machine). In-depth knowledge and awareness of common Nickel & Cobalt Superalloy material specifications, particularly from the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries. Prior experience using a handheld XRF metal analyser is a necessity for this role.Filing in relevant Sort Report's and passing on to Sorting Supervisor -making sure all relevant information is collated and written down correctly for any sorts you have been involved in.Returning goods to stock when needed, filling in stock movement sheets & maintaining a tidy work environment -good organisational skills requiredMetal Processing -from time to time, load and unload lorries and containers and process and pack metal ready for saleAcademic or trade qualificationsGCSE grade of C or above in English & Maths (or equivalent college course qualifications)Full, clean driving licenseFork Lift Truck licenseShift Timings;Monday-Thursday:7am-2.30pm or 7.30am to 3pm or 8am to 3.30pm (all with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)Friday:6am-1.30pm or 6.30am to 2pm or 7am to 2.30pm (all with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)Shift timings may be rotated to suit the needs of the business.
