This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a close-knit team of six professionals within their dedicated building surveying division.Scroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Youll be involved in delivering high-profile national rollouts for well-known clients in the leisure and retail sectors. The work is varied and client-facing, offering strong opportunities for professional growth within a supportive consultancy environment.As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing and delivering a diverse range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on national retail and leisure projects. These projects involve working with some of the UKs most recognisable brands, offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-impact, visible work. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting site inspections, preparing detailed building condition reports and compiling schedules of dilapidations. Strong written and analytical skills are essential, as clear and concise reporting will form a core part of your role. You will be required to attend site visits across the UK, so holding a full UK driving licence is essential. The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline and will either be working towards chartered status or have achieved MRICS accreditation. While prior experience in the retail or leisure sectors would be advantageous, it is not essential. Whats more important is a proactive attitude, an organised approach and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Youll be a confident communicator and a collaborative team player who thrives in a client facing environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.
