We are currently partnering with a Local Government based in Norfolk, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to support their accomplished team on a temporary basis.While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week, the rate of pay will be negotiable based upon experience, start date is subject to notice.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Managing the transfer of land from District to Parish or Community Group level, including assisting in the leasehold/freehold transfer of a number of car park assets to Parish CouncilsHandling a mixed caseload of active property files, including complex title reports and intricate land law issuesProviding support for standard local government legal work during quieter project periodsDiscussing and negotiating the terms of any property interest and then bringing that to a legal closeAssisting with overflow on an ad-hoc basisExperience required:Experience required in a Local Government SettingSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant property law experienceProficient in handling large caseloads and working with minimal supervisionWorking hours:35 hours per week Onsite presence requiredPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
