You will play a key role in preparing and prosecuting criminal cases, working closely with law enforcement and justice sector stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Review and assess prosecution files submitted by law enforcement and government agenciesProvide pre-prosecution advice and direct appropriate chargesPrepare case papers and manage evidence for prosecutionAdvocate in Magistrates Court, with occasional County Court appearancesCollaborate with victims, witnesses, and justice system partnersAssist in the preparation of committal papers for Indictable cases where requiredEssential Criteria:Qualified Solicitor or Barrister entitled to practice in Northern IrelandAt least one years post-qualification advocacy experience in criminal cases, gained within the last six years in a Magistrates Court environmentAdditional Information:Applicants must have the right to work in the UKShortlisted candidates may be asked to apply for an Access NI check (fees apply)Only shortlisted candidates will be contactedCVs may be retained for future legal opportunitiesHow to Apply: Please submit your CV via the application link or contact Ray at Raymond.McPhillips@stafflinerecruit.com or call 028 9024 2824.
