HSE Advisor – Fabrication (Contract Role)Overview:The HSE Advisor supports the on-site Package Management and Fabrication Team by implementing HSE strategies and ensuring supplier compliance with project-specific health and safety requirements. The role focuses on driving performance improvements, reducing incidents, and supporting continuous safety enhancements during fabrication activities.Key Responsibilities:Ensure supplier compliance with HSE requirements per contractPlan and conduct risk-based supplier assessments and inspectionsSupport HSE strategy implementation and Improvement PlansCoordinate operational HSE initiatives across teamsParticipate in incident investigations and follow-upsMonitor and report on supplier HSE performance and KPIsMaintain HSE data structure and reporting tools (e.g., Synergi or equivalent)Contribute to and attend HSE meetings, workshops, and auditsDevelop yard-specific safety guidelines and deliver inductionsExpected Deliverables:HSE document reviews and supplier action follow-upsRisk assessments, inspections, and HSE site presenceRegular reporting on supplier performance and improvement trackingOngoing updates to QHSE assurance plans and escalation of non-complianceParticipation in meetings, risk workshops, and auditsSuccess Criteria:Reduction in TRIR and non-conformitiesTimely delivery of milestonesPositive supplier HSE performance against project objectivesEffective implementation of improvement and assurance plansRequirements:IOSH or NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate (Diploma preferred)5+ years in industrial manufacturing HSE (ideally fabrication)10+ years in QHSE managementIncident investigation and root cause analysis experienceKnowledge of local HSE regulationsValid training in Work at Height (e.g., GWO) and First AidValid medical certificateFluent in English (spoken and written)Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skillsIf you are interested in hearing more, please apply today
