RTL Group are looking for an engineer to work on a civils project in Shrewsbury starting next week.The project involves roads, drainage, deep excavations, concrete works, and associated infrastructure. You will play a vital role in setting out, surveying, and ensuring thequality and paperworkon-site. Key Responsibilities Setting out for earthworks, roads, drainage, and RC structuresChecking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculationsLiaising with subcontractors, engineers, and site managementMaintaining site records including RAMS, ITPs, and quality checksEnsuring all works are carried out to the highest health 'safety standardsProviding technical support to operatives and supervisors on-siteAssisting with as-built drawings and handover documentationRequirements Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar disciplineMinimum 2-3 years' experience in a Site Engineer role on civils/groundworks projectsStrong setting out skills using GPS/Total Station and AutoCADValid CSCS card – SSSTS or SMSTS desirableStrong understanding of drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concreteGood communication skills and a proactive attitudeFull UK driving licence#J-18808-Ljbffr
